Andrea Negrini Becomes Newest Director of Operations

Roper Whitney is pleased to announce Andrea Negrini as our new Director as of April 22, 2022. As Director, Andrea will provide leadership and research to further our company’s growth in becoming unstoppable in the metal forming Industry. Andrea will continue to build our strong track record of American-made machines, modernize the equipment, and assist in new machinery development.

Andrea is from the State of Ticino in Switzerland. Before joining Roper Whitney and moving his family to America, he worked as a service manager specializing in Tensol long folders. He also serviced machines internationally. He has over 15 years of experience in the sheet metal industry, with a strong electronic and mechanical engineering background.

Andrea has had a successful history within Roper Whitney since joining us in 2015. He has played many roles, starting as Service Manager and was in charge of long folder projects. The long folder projects then branched into other machinery such as Autobrakes and Shears, with the main focus of upgrading the controls. Then he became manager of engineering, assembly, and sales. Andrea has now accepted the role as our new Director, and is eager for new challenges in his professional career
